Parking Lot Entrance Closure

The Knights of Columbus (Council 1208) will be managing the entrance to the parking lot during the Sugar Cane Festival weekend (September 27-29) and the Gumbo Festival weekend (October 12 -13).  This will make it possible for parishioners to have adequate parking for weekend Masses.  The entrances to the parking lot will be limited. Please use either the St. Peter entrance next to the church or the Julia St. entrance near the oak tree. These are the only entrances provided for the weekends of the festivals.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Adoration Chapel

The Chapel of Divine Mercy has an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm until Friday mornings at 7:00 am.

Legacy Seminar

In response to the interest in our prior Legacy Seminar, a second session has been scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024.  This session, presented by the clergy, parishioners who are experts in areas of estate planning and the Diocesan Office of Stewardship and Development, will provide useful information on end-of -life and estate planning issues. Wills, advanced healthcare directives and Catholic funerals will be addressed.  It’s important to create your legacy according to your values and wishes.
